IC targets up to 20 small modular reactors in Türkiye and the region
A regional technology ecosystem is being built for safe, scalable and low-carbon solutions in next-generation energy infrastructure.
With shorter construction times, scalable capacity and advanced passive safety features, small modular reactors mark a new era in energy infrastructure. IC Nuclear Technology is pursuing a long-term roadmap to deploy these technologies in Türkiye and neighboring markets.
The targeted capacity requires domestic engineering, nuclear-grade supply infrastructure and qualified human capital to develop in parallel. To that end, industrial partnerships and academic programs are being planned together.
